Release cycle theme: The Pokémon of Jostle
B is for Blacephalon
Not every Pokémon arrives the usual way. Blacephalon crossed into the Alola region through an Ultra Wormhole, one of the Ultra Beasts from a dimension called Ultra Space. This Fire- and Ghost-type looks like a clown, and its party trick is anything but funny: it detaches its own head and makes it explode.
Its signature move, Mind Blown, is just as dramatic. Blacephalon gives up half its own HP to launch one huge blast. We’d like to think this release blows a few minds too, minus the self-inflicted damage.
