Automation users
System Admins: This new user type has been created to allow organizations to set up third-party integrations (e.g. Zapier) or to configure user provisioning (see below) without having to tie the function to an existing user's account. Each Jostle customer is provided with one free Automation user slot, with the option to add more via paid slots.
Automation user accounts do not get affected by most of the login control settings (but will have a mandatory MFA login). For more information, go to Admin Settings > User accounts and data > Manage Automation users.

Organizations that use Okta can now manage user creation and updates in Okta and then have those changes automatically pushed to their Jostle intranet. For more information, interested customers can see this article or contact support@jostle.me

This method removes the need for a System Admin to set up a new user’s account prior to sending them an invite. All they need to do is send the link to their users. NOTE—self registration emails cannot be auto-generated, so System Admins will have to copy-paste the link into emails that they create and send themselves.
