Aside from the usual improvements and bug fixes, the majority of features included in our Gryffindor release will be used to lay the groundwork for upcoming advancements. As a result, there are no customer-facing features included in this release.

G is for Gryffindor
Gryffindor is one of four Hogwarts Houses, each named after one of the founders of Hogwarts. When Salazar Slytherin, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Godric Gryffindor came together to found the school, they each had an idea of their ideal student.
Slytherin preferred students with ambition, cunning, and a certain level of “pure-blood” lineage.
Ravenclaw wanted students with intelligence, creativity, and a thirst for knowledge.
Hufflepuff was welcoming of all backgrounds and wanted students who were hardworking, loyal, and patient.
Gryffindor desired students who were brave, daring, and willing to stand up for what is right.
Initially, the founders hand-picked their students, but, knowing this couldn’t go on forever, they realized they needed a different way to sort students, which is where the Sorting Hat came in.
Most Potter fans are familiar with the Sorting Hat, but did you know that the Sorting Hat originally belonged to Godric Gryffindor? In fact, it is the Sorting Hat’s song in The Goblet of Fire that identifies Gryffindor as its original owner, singing:
Twas Gryffindor who found the way,
He whipped me off his head
The founders put some brains in me
So I could choose instead
