Release Notes

Egg Release 🥚

Released on 2019 June 5

What's new

  • Drag and drop Library files
Files and folders can now be dragged and dropped into folders within their same Volume. This allows you to move files and folders much more easily and quickly.

Who can do this: Category and Volume Librarians.

  • Updates to Discussion

The action bar on Discussions is redesigned to be more intuitive. Now you can “like”, copy text, and grab the comment link more easily.

To help reduce noise in Discussions, there’s a new alert message to users that create or edit a Discussion that’s targeted to 30+ individuals. The alert will recommend alternatives like changing a Private Discussion to Discoverable and/or reducing the number of targeted individuals.

  • Updates to the G Suite automation screen

For Google-integrated customers, you’ll notice new improvements in the G Suite Automation screen in Administration settings. System Administrators who bulk manage their Contributors will now see more details about the available automation options when on this screen.

Who can do this: System Administrators in Google-integrated orgs.

  • Option to center company logo on the Main Navigation
Simple, but highly requested. You can now center your logo in the Main Navigation bar.

Who can use this: System Administrators. Details on branding your intranet are here.

PLUS 78 other bug fixes and/or performance enhancements.

Did you know that there's actually an answer to that age-old conundrum, "Which came first, the chicken or the egg"? Turns out it was the chicken! Apparently, a component of eggshellsa particular proteincan only be found in chicken ovaries. In other words, you can only get an egg(shell) if it was developed inside a chicken.

But despair not, egg-truthers! For if you consider the Chicken McNugget and the Egg McMuffin, then there the egg did indeed come first. So…at least there’s that.
