M is for Mint
These days, mint is an icy-cool flavor in everything from candy to cocktails, but did you know that it’s been used as a breath freshener since the Middle Ages? Medieval Europeans weren’t exactly known for their dental hygiene, but they eased bad breath with mint-vinegar mouthwash or by simply chewing on mint leaves. That practice evolved with the invention of peppermint Altoids and mint-flavored toothpaste in the 1880s. And the tradition of mint-freshened breath continues today.

Several significant improvements have been made to the Image Block in News. These include a better layout for image galleries, a clearer indication of when images are uploading, improved uploading reliability, and more robust image management using the action menu (⋮).

L is for Lily
Did you know that lilies, like humans, are social creatures? They grow best in groups of three to five flowers. Their bright color, scent, and nectar makes them attractive to pollinators like bees and hummingbirds. A few flower friends and a pet bee is quite the family unit!

We’ve added support for biometric login so users can access Jostle on Apple mobile devices with their Touch ID or Face ID. This feature is available with the newest Jostle iOS app (4.11).
We’ve increased the accepted character length in the Location field on Events to accommodate long meeting link URLs for virtual events.

K is for Kerria
Did you know the Japanese name for kerria (yamabuki) translates to “mountain breeze?” The yellow flowers are native to Japan and grow up to 3 meters tall in bushels on mountain slopes. It was first brought to the West by Scottish gardener William Kerr, the namesake of the English word, kerria.

Activity API
We’ve added Activity as an API endpoint, allowing System Administrators to create automated posts with Zapier or custom code.
We’ve improved the Poll Block in News including displaying the Settings panel up front, adding the ability to republish the item to the top of the News timeline when the Poll closes, and many smaller improvements.

But did you know Syria’s capital is known as “the City of Jasmine?” In Damascus, the world's oldest capital city, you can see jasmine vines outside many homes.
