Layton Construction is a nationally-ranked construction company based in Utah. Their team has built structures for virtually every industry, including healthcare centers, sports venues, hotels and resorts and office buildings. They have twelve offices across eight states and at any given time they have multiple projects occurring across the United States.
With nearly 1000 employees spread out over numerous construction sites across the United States, Jostle’s mobile app is key to giving employees access to news, information, and the tools they need to stay connected and do their jobs.
This past year, they set out to increase traffic to their Jostle platform and further make it a one-stop-shop for all company news and employee information. Here’s how they did it:
- Increased the articles published in News by 25%. New content included an in-platform scavenger hunt and a series of business update videos from their senior leadership team.
- Reviewed and expanded their Library and Links to include even more information for employees, such as SSO applications and key work and benefits forms.
- Launched an Employee Stock Purchase Program through their Jostle platform. There were multiple articles published in News before, during, and after the launch. Library was used to hold all reference materials, training presentations, videos, and more.
All their efforts paid off. In a year-end survey, employees reported they were more engaged and felt like company communication was more timely and relevant (about a 20% increase from the year previous).
