Two adults trying to figure out how to work from home with two little kids running around.
Our social feeds, the news, and a lot of our work conversations revolve around Covid-19. I’ve seen tons of hacks and tips on how to work from home effectively now that a lot of us are at home with our kids. I know all the information is well-intentioned...but maybe we just need to cut ourselves some slack?
I had Dave Gerhardt on the podcast to discuss what it’s like working from home with two young kids. His advice? This is just a blip in time that we’ll remember one day and we’re all just trying to figure it out. So do the best you can. He did share some great tips though on how to structure your day so that you can get more done with fewer hours.
We also chatted a bit about what it’s like marketing and selling during a pandemic and what we think the “new normal” will be like at workplaces once this is all over.
“Balancing work and life is the least of my concern or should be anyone’s concern right now.”
