[Webinar] 4 drivers of employee engagement

While the presence of employee communications and employee engagement programs move the needle a little, the biggest opportunity lies in focusing those efforts on building what matters.

Watch the webinar recording we did with the International Association of Business Communicators to understand “Bridging the Engagement Gap. Four things that drive engagement”.

In our continuing quest to enable more vibrant workplaces, we do quite a bit of research and analysis. We recently published a white paper with Brian Solis analyzing research we did into who was and was not engaged at work and why. We’ve now taken it a step further.

Our research showed that there were four core drivers of employee engagement: respect for executives, company pride, work that matters, and a positive culture. You may well be thinking well, sure. But how do we get that? And aren’t they all the same thing? Yes and no.

We wanted to understand these issues better too. We read, we observed, we interviewed, and we wrote. We finally shared what we learned during a webinar with the International Association of Business Communicators. We’re happy to share both the slides and the webinar recording with you:

Our key takeaways? While the presence of employee communications and employee engagement programs move the needle a little, focusing those efforts on building what matters – that’s where the opportunity lies.

What’s working (or not) for you?
