Brand, values, and communication reach YOTEL's global workforce

Find out how international hotel chain YOTEL are reaching across time zones and job types to easily communicate important company messaging.

YOTEL have been operating affordable luxury hotels since 2007. They currently have six hotels around the world and are set to open a further eight in new destinations. They have a lean approach to business, internally and externally, and believe that a lower cost service shouldn't compromise quality.

As they grew in size, YOTEL realized they needed a better way to communicate with their expanding workforce. They wanted to streamline communication with one central tool that would make it easy for employees to stay in touch with each other and receive important leadership messages.

YOTEL found the solution to their internal communication challenges in the Jostle® intranet. Since implementing the platform three years ago, they've been able to provide consistent communication across their international workforce. Here are just some of the amazing things they're doing:

  • Reinforcing important company values that employees live-out every day
  • Recognizing and rewarding their staff quickly and easily
  • Creating more connections between international staff
  • Simplifying onboarding and orientation for new staff
  • Reducing emails and time spent on getting messages to the entire team

“Jostle is an excellent way of getting our values in front of our Crew. We also use Jostle to reward people for putting our values into practice.”
Jo Berrington
VP, Brand
